Just saw AVP- Aliens VS Predators. I loved it. Not big on plot or story but to be honest....that's not what AVP is about. It's about killing and asskicking aliens all done with style. Awsome effects. The aliens were done really well...both types. I loved the different helms on the Preds!!
It was silly and over the top at times...but come on...I didn't go to see "The Real Fucking Boring Shit That Happens to me Everyday".
This past weekend I had a lot of fun too. I drank enough to be really funny to large groups of the people I was with and had a blast. I managed to buy a form of generic Captain Morgans called Admiral Nelson's....close looking bottles...really sad rip off. It peed out the same and got me drunk so still good to go.
Did some fighting. Did some gambling. Did some "keeping a problems from happening without having to beat the shit out of some yahoo"...ing.
All in all I had a good time.
Down side....my good friend Jer couldn't be there because his mom, who wasn't eating after her chemotherapy, had to go into the hospital. She died on Saturday.
My mom died from cancer as well so I really share his pain.
Gonna be rough on him. Best thing I can do is be there for him...and at the right time get him drunk till he cries and punch him for being such a pussy.
Gotta be done. A "Must Do".
