SO....

Things that have been going on lately:

I met an amazing girl, we fell hard for each other, then she fell for someone else, got my heart broken. (I'm detecting a pattern here...)

I have booked my trip to New York. August 2-9. Hotel and flight are paid up. I'll be staying near Canal Street in SOHO. Fuck yes. Get to see my best friend Tim while I'm there, and a pretty girl named Bryana who lives in Brooklyn. Pretty excited.

Got a raise at work. Finally. But still unsure about my employment. We'll see what happens.

My beard is growing in nicely. I don't plan to shave it at all this year. Maybe a little trim now and then to keep up appearances.

Also, trying to establish some new friends in Vancouver. Right now I'm sort of "friendless" (so to speak) - meaning I have no one to confide in or hang out with regularly. That part sucks. So hopefully that'll change.
