Weird night.

I'm kind of in a downswing (hi, Pisces, mood = everywhere)

I decided what to get girl for her birthday. Considering we still have never met, it was a bit of a challenge.

See, I was going to try to get her a first edition book from her favorite poetry author. But my sister talked me out of it. Said it would be too 'intense' of a gift for a first time meeting someone (and well, it also sets the bar pretty fucking high) - so instead I'll get her a nice Moleskine and an indestructible 'space pen' to bring with her for writing lyrics. At least, I hope. Hah.

Not sure why I'm heading into 'bummed out town'... just one of those nights I suppose. Could also be my choice in music. Could be that I'm terribly lonely. Could be my financial woes. Could be a lot of things.

I also started writing again. It's been a *long* time since I've written. It feels kind of good to get back into it. I wish I could write something different than the 'hopeless romantic ramblings' that I always find myself writing. But whatever, maybe it will come.

I also decided that when I'm out taking photos, to also record my thoughts at the time, and possibly write about that too, to kind of get a better perspective on why I take the photos I take.

I'm sure tonight's insomnia will be no different than usual. The 2-3 hours a night is starting to wear on me.
