Well today was a bit of a waste.

Couldn't do any work because two other departments broke the server environments that I test on.
But I still got paid.

I did some 'financial re-negotiations' with my bank, and ended up with $800 spare. Which is good. Breathing room really. It will let me fix my alternator, clutch slave cylinder, and fuel pump. (Ok, I really only needed to fix the alternator, but the other 2 parts have had it, so might as well get them now before they bite me in the arse later, right?)

The tat is healing swimmingly. I took some antihistamines and the hives/rash have calmed down quite a bit. What a bloody nightmare that one was. Never experienced anything as lame as that before.

The lady friend got back yesterday. I even got to talk to her for a few minutes. Which was nice. She was tired so I wasnt expecting much in the way of elaborate conversation really. I just hope she's still interested in me. Our interaction is at the 'cusp' so to speak, where it could go either way. And well, I know which way I'd like for it to go.

I'm 30-ish days (I forget the exact number) into the non smoking. I have about another week of the 14mg patches left, then I drop down to 5mg for two weeks, then... no more nicotine.

Life, although with its little hiccups here and there, is going pretty well. No complaints really.
