Women Still Confuse me, just not as much - Epilogue
Suffice it to say, if I were to be suddenly struck by a bus and subsequently killed, I could assure you, that at that moment, I would have died one of the happiest people on the planet.
Yesterday's day went swimmingly to say the least.
I picked her up at work, and we began our journey into West Vancouver, heading towards Lighthouse Park.
We talked, laughed, were genuinely interested in what each other had to say, almost like we hadn't spoken to each other in close to a year. (Even though we talk daily, but thats beside the point)
After missing the turnoff, rounding about, and managing the steep unpaved road, we were parked. The weather was beautiful and so was she. We began down the main trail, heading thru possibly one of the most stunning views I have seen in some time. The trails were great, the weather was just right, and we talked and walked and laughed.
We stood on a rock-face and observed the lighthouse. Then the scenery around it. We spied a little cove down low, and decided to hike it.
We got down to the cove, it was perfect. Quiet, secluded, beautiful, and just... amazing. We sat next to each other, talked even more, it was at this point I was trying to figure out how to kiss her. That continued on for quite some time, but our bums got sore from sitting on a log for over an hour, so we continued on our hike back to the car.
On the way back into town, we stopped at one of the best sandwich places I have been to in my life. We ordered our meals, and continued on to her place. After a short period of thoroughly enjoying our meals, on the couch we sat, chatted a bit, watched some TV, and enjoyed each others company.
She had to go out of town today, so that night she needed time to pack and whatnot. We felt it best for her prodcuctivity if we parted ways for the night.
She walked me to my car, we hugged. One of the warmest embraces I have felt in a long time. It lasted forever, and I wish it could have lasted forever more.
After some awkard faces, and diving back into a hug, we kissed. The first kiss is always the most awkward. But also the most memorable, and by far, one of the best first kisses I've experienced in my lifetime. I was probably also turning three shades of a darker red thats how much I was blushing at that point. (Luckily it was dark out)
All in all, it was one of the most perfect days I've had in a long time.
Thanks for your support guys and gals. You helped me out a lot.
