so it looks like i am no longer married. nicole and i have amicably and mutually decided this isn't working.
we both want to be with our daughter, so we're going to try living together but not be together. we'll see how this goes. i imagine everyone who reads this will roll their eyes and say how that's impossible, but i think it might work. otherwise, i'll be apartment hunting, i guess, as i want nicole to keep the house.

i'm not upset. this is a good thing and it's a long time in coming. i haven't been happy or felt loved or been in love with nic for a long time now. all i really feel about this is nervous relief. i'm amazed at the lack of screaming or crying involved. it's actually working out exactly as i had hoped.

other things seem to be falling into place as well, though i'm going to wait on talking about it. chickens and eggs and all that fucking nonsense.
