My family resolves conflict by going off for a while and then pretending nothing happened afterwards. I, however hold grudges that never go away unless I decide (or discover) I was wrong. All this resentment can't be healthy and it does kind of suck to know that anything you say will just roll off somebody's back whereas you're the most sensitive person in the world. Ugh.
I don't think I should go to Boston anymore, but I haven't thought of anything better. I'm hoping something will come up.

I second DANIOFTHEDEAD's post. Sounds like you just need to go somewhere anywhere brave the rain and the blinding sun and the driven snow...
