I'm a little worried that I missed out on discovering my talent. I don't mean that I think I could have latent musical or culinary abilities or something that I still have time to get into. I'm referring to things a person simply can't do in the modern world. What if I could've been an excellent dinosaur slayer, or ninja, or shaman? Or a combination of the three!

Maybe I can still develop skills in obsolete areas of expertise. People will call me Captain Anachronism, and I'll be poorly paid and seldom adored.

But it's an excuse to wear a fedora and carry throwing stars, if nothing else.
