It's a bit bizarre, living in a world where God might or might not exist. The fact that this is even possible says a lot about what we (would) expect from Him. If God disappeared one day, would anyone even notice? Maybe some of you think the world would plummet into chaos and darkness or whatever, but I think that the entirety of creation can...

So I told myself that I'd abandon my homoerotic tale of robo-sacrilege if I didn't get any positive feedback, and I didn't soooo if I ever write anything, ever it'll have to be a completely NEW idea.

So when I'm drunk I feel really fast. I don't mean to suggest I'm imbued with super-speed, but it feels like the delay between when I think about...

I like reading your thoughts thus far. You think--and write--interestingly.

I didn't get the apartment, which sucks, but I hadn't expected to so it wasn't so bad. Seeeeee, pessimism does have its benefits....

It also helps that I'm having a good time in Seattle with Margi. I don't know if being here and seeing her is the kinda thing I'd only be able to work out just this once, so I'd say I'm fairly determined...

The trip is going pretty good. I just wish I didn't have worries about my school situation hanging overhead and ruining things ever so slightly. Hope everyone else is doing alright.

That's just there so I remember to look at it later.

i will always keep the option in the back of my mind, for a random escape.

i think we could make good money.

So I am now registered for a bunch o'classes at Penn State for the fall semester. The fact that I was able to do this strongly suggests that I have not yet been expelled, though I wouldn't say it's enough to make me rest easy quite yet. Also, I tried to get a housing contract but was unable to. That's probably bcause I missed the...

That is a lot to deal with. I think flying out to meet someone is adventurous as long as you are safe during the encounter and I think you will be. Scary to start with but definitely an experience you will always remember. Hope it goes well and good luck with sorting school out!

Once, somebody drove down to meet me.

We ended up living together for convenience, but god, was he dangerous and creepy. Some people should not know martial arts.

And actually, I'm currently a Gaia Helper, not an actual moderator.

I'm nervous about going to Seattle next week, but I figure that it's better to do things when you're feeling really shit. If they don't work out, then you don't have very far to fall. Misery=invincibility! Yeah, wouldn't that be the best superhero ever?

Nope, it's on August 19th. You should come and watch my eternal struggle between my social anxiety and my desire to be social, manifested in my squirms of discomfort as people I don't know well enough hug me.
fenchurch:
Radtastic.

I always take it personally when someone chooses not to make eye contact with me. I mean if you can't look at a person, you must think they're pretty repulsive.

Things I want to do before I die.

1. Applaud for reasons other than peer pressure.

2. Eat a peach yogurt.*

3. Make an animal's life better.

4. Spend a fulfilling and otherwise normal day naked.

5. Impress a special person to an unusual degree.

6. Know what it's like to be completely free of regret.

7. Have at least one original, remarkable idea.

My family resolves conflict by going off for a while and then pretending nothing happened afterwards. I, however hold grudges that never go away unless I decide (or discover) I was wrong. All this resentment can't be healthy and it does kind of suck to know that anything you say will just roll off somebody's back whereas you're the most sensitive person in the world....

The location of my mom and step-dad's new house is number three on this list of the best places to live. She was pretty excited, particularly by the possibility that this will positively affect property values..

I myself don't agree with how they determined the winners.

That left 850 towns, which we ranked, weighing economic, education and safety factors twice as much as arts, leisure...

If it really makes you uncomfortable and he refuses to stop when you ask him to stop you might want to consider the possibility that it is molestation. I'm not going to tell you that's what it is, I'm just saying you might want to really think about it and even talk to someone about it. The people who love you are supposed to respect your boundaries.

I hope reading that wasn't too gross or scary.

Make sure to rub some balm on those udders of misery. You don't want them getting chapped.

But seriously, good luck with your dad. Sorry I don't have anything more useful than that.

Today's church service was about tents and the role they play in the Bible. Apparently, lots of people lived in tents and one of the apostles was a tent maker. Our bodies are also kind of like tents in the sense that they're an impermanent place of residence for us until we can move onto something better (our kickass second bodies in heaven). They also...
