So I went to an Alkaline Trio show! Accompanying me, was the lovely Amneris, and her new Zombie Siren tattoo! (I saw it. It is awesome. Pics when it's not so scabby?)

6 hour drive, 2 junk food stops, and terrible Atlanta traffic, but by some miracle of nature, we made it by a hair.

I can't remember the entire set list, but they played a little bit of everything. From what I can recall: I Lied My Face Off, For Your Lungs Only, I Found Away, Bleeder, Love Love Kiss Kiss, Crawl, In Vein, Mercy Me, Private Eye, Armageddon, WARBRAIN (YESSSSS!!!!!), This Could Be Love, Radio, Dead And Broken, Southern Rock, in no particular order. I know I'm missing a few from Goddammit and Maybe I'll Catch Fire, but my knowledged of those first two albums is limited...

They could've just played I Found Away and In Vein, and that woulda been the show, for me, but they really got away with a varied, energetic, and ultimately awesome set. My only complaint was no Sadie. :'-(

I spent some of time moving back and forth between the stage, making friends with the bouncers, and getting some pictures in.
