So I have attempted to write something 5 different times over the past week. So after a few days of being in my office.. which sucked due to my ex flirting with her new bf every time I was around (WHY?! I mean.. seriously?).. I decided to work from home. So Thursday and Friday I worked from my house, which was great. I did a lot of thinking about the kind of person I am, and the kind of person I want to be. I also gave a lot of thought to the kind of person I want to be with. I have learned one thing that is ultimately important to me.. I HAVE to have an honest woman in my life. I also realized that I would really love to find a girl that I can actually talk to. I miss talking. I know that may sound dumb.. or simple.. or whatever. But I think of my failed relationships and almost none of them kept a verbal relationship with me. I like the idea of finding a girl who is my friend first.. but every girl I become friends with no longer sees me as more than a friend. So, maybe I am just fucked? lol
Friday was interesting.. I was invited by my friend to go out and hang out with her and her girlfriend. She recently moved away from here to live in a tiny town near a couple ski resorts. So I packed up my stuff, and as soon as work was done I drove for 2 hours into the mountains. It was pretty nice to be away from all of the crap here. The town is so small that everyone knows each other. Friday night, we went to drink at the local bar, which was in a motel lobby. Sound weird? The place was fantastic! It was nothing like I expected.. very hole in the wall and cool. I ended up drinking all night with people of, literally, all ages.
Saturday was pretty wild. There is this festival out at the resort called Jack Frost.. its the celebration bringing in winter. It was crazy. There were bon fires everywhere.. food and alcohol.. other fun things. lol. There were some live jam bands, and they burned this giant wooden sun that had fireworks on it. It was a blast! Part of the night is really.. blurry.
I had a great time.. and know even more so that I have to travel and experience things. I am already planning a trip to Portugal.. and I think I may go to Germany just before summer. Any other place I should go? Oh! And I plan on going to Canada to visit a friend! I am excited about travel if you cant tell. Haha. I am going thro pictures to add right now.. Ok.. picture of the band (sorta.. was really crowded). I have a before and after my beard trimming.. I didnt shave throughout November so I decided to stop looking like a bum. Uhmm... a picture of me wearing a mask b/c the smoke was sooooo crazy at the festival. A crazy picture of how bright the moon was.. it lit up everything!
