I'm hoping to be sent some from Friday's gig, as there was a bunch of people thrusting a variety of cameras into our faces through the gig. We'll see though.

Today I've been mostly digging out my front garden. I've had to go down almost 3 feet to get to the hard stuff, so given the area I'm digging out it's gonna take quite a tonneage of gravel to fill it back up again for parking space My wallet will suffer. I'll see once I finish my excavations how bad it looks, as I may try and get a load of cheap-assed bottoming from the quarry to take it up so far, and then a small load of the good stuff to finish it off. It's only for parking cars on, for gawds sake!

I've also been wondering whether this is really such a good idea, as no doubt I will then be tempted to fill the space with more junk project cars that I don't actually need or will never actually get around to working on... But, I have to get my project 1953 Ford Prefect hotrod out my mates garage by the end of next month, so it's quite necessary! It needs a lot of work really, so the plan is to get the Holden HQ done and roadworthy in time for the next Hemsby in October, then start on the old Ford. It's pretty bitchin though; Narrowed 9" rear end on a 4-bar suspension, boxed frame, 10" wide rear tyres, channeled over the frame, and I have a Ford 302ci and autobox in pieces in the garage to go into it. For those of you who don't speak "car", that all means it's gonna look like a cartoon car but be powerful enough to embarrass most Ferraris Plus it will really piss off the local Max Power tarts handbag boy racers. Although I'm sure the Holden will do that anyway! I wonder how many "Mad Max Car" comments I get about it because it has a supercharger. Or how many people will ask if the supercharger goes on and off like the one in the film does?? Gah.

I'm fed up of digging now, so I'm drinking tea and contemplating a sandwich. I'm also going to do my tax return spreadsheet for the accountants, as those are due in soon and they're pretty simple to do as I've only been in business for myself since mid January. Not too many incomings and outgoings to have to put in there. If I get that done, I may head into town to go annoy some people or something!

Wasted Festival this Thursday, cannae wait man!! Demented Are Go! are playing Thursday night, so me and the Retro Rebels will be along to see them and booze it up. Come say hi if you see us... I'll only bite if you ask me nicely!! Actually, just come up and grab my ass. I'd like that, and I'll know you're on SG if you do. But, if you're a guy, i'd suggest sticking to a tap on the shoulder or the usual "Hey, I'm xxxx from SG".
