Wow, it's such a kickass lovely day here today. It's funny to think there were Gale force winds and driving hailstones here just 2 days ago!! eeek The spring weather sure knows how to not make it's mind up. I'm about to head into BP to hopefully earn some money and invoice for my work last month. The Retro Rebels krew already phoned me because their internet wasn't working, and the reason was 'someone' had plugged a phone directly into the phone socket on the wall rather than into the phone bit on those little microfilter do-dahs. Whuuupps! Easy fix though!! smile

Meantime, here's the dates I have for KARLOFF so far for this year... :

Sat/Sun 5th/6th Nov - London Deathrock Weekender (TBC)

We'll also hopefully be in London somewhat sooner than November, supporting Celtic Bones on their farewell gig as their crazy drummer Skum has reached the end of his visa and has to head back to the land down under frown Not sure when/where this will be, but I think we're definately doing it, and the Celtic Bones gigs are always fuckin ace!!

Whuuuups... Wore my Dwarves tour t-shirt to work today, didn't go down well...!! It has "The Dwarves Must Die" on the front, and the guy at work who i've known for years took me aside and said "Can't take you to the canteen for lunch because of your t-shirt". Turns out there is a dwarf who works there near where they pass, and he reckoned that there would be someone who would pull us up and he would be in the sheeyat!! frown It's weird, I really didn't have my mind engaged when I threw it on this morning... Usually I'm thinking "Gotta wear something innofensive" and find a Lucky 13 or Felon t that is fine. But this morning, I just didn't fuckin think about it! Never mind, I was behind a desk and computer all day in an office with my former work colleagues right by the staff entrance, so no biggie. Be interesting to see if he's mentioned it to my old boss when I give him my invoice tomorrow. But, he's a reasonable guy and I'll just hold my hands up and say sorry, wasn't thinking, won't happen again. I'd usually wear a shirt and trousers for office work, but I'm basically sat at a computer the whole time and I also hate wearing it and cannae be arsed at the mo!

On the plus side, the wireless kit for my guitar came today. Gonna give it a wee whirl shortly I think. AND I got a DVD from local punk rock king Dod of legendary Aberdeen punk band Toxic Ephex of the Legendary Shackshakers gig Friday. It's really great, he's done an amazing editing and filming job, and the sound is very decent. Gonna whack it onto MD for listening to in my car, it's kickass!

Picked up a table and chairs for my dining room from a mate, along with a couple of cabinets with drawers for the garage.

That's about it for the day, I think!

Hey I saw Demented Are Go at Rock City in about '99, didnt see the support band though, I didnt live in Nottingham then so was late to the gig, was that your gig?
