The new format has emphasized the concept of following and being followed. Most of my working life was devoted to leading other people. I never sought to be in charge. They just put me in charge. And, once you've been in charge, people keep putting you in charge. My leadership philosophy was simple; I tried to get others to care about me and how I was doing by showing that my first concern was for them, and how they did. It didn't always work! But some people became very loyal. Not just followers, but friends!
Personally, I am happy to be a follower. I don't want to be in charge any more. The genius of S.G. lies in who are in charge. Namely strong, creative, compassionate women!! You have led me, and most of us to care about you, your lives, and your families. Keep on leading, for I am your grateful follower!
