Sooo… yesterday I found out my compression bandage and staples should’ve been removed 10 days ago to check for incision health. Now it’s infected, and the 2nd implanted defibrillator wasn’t properly retained in a pocket cut into left pectoral as usual. Instead the surgeon sewed up the existing pocket cut when original failed ICD had to be ripped out. Now it just looks and feels

Well now, here I am not well at all.
Had 2nd of my now 3 heart attacks last night. 2 weeks ago I was admitted to hospital in full arrest, needed to be shocked back to life. Woke up with a Medtronic defibrillator stuck inside me. Sent home, was told everything ok, wait for the monitor to arrive so we can see what it’s doing.
