I’ll have a righteous scar, looking for tattoo ideas to incorporate that landscape after it’s healed in 6 months.
Only complication is a drain into my in my right lung keeps blocking and makes fluid build up around the heart causing it work harder and could result infection. So I’m just hanging out in the ICU for maybe another 5 days.

The years of trying to deny I’ve actually been this ill have caught up with me. Internal heart valves will be replaced with cadaver tissue, and a portion of upper aorta containing a 5cm aneurysm

Wow, thanks for sharing! After thinking I was 💯 healthy and invincible, I was diagnosed with a 4.8 cm aortic aneurysm this year. It was discovered totally by accident. My aortic valve and everything else looks good for my age, so I’m in the watching and waiting stage, but I’ve had to cut back on my physical activity, which really sucks. Please keep posting your progress, fingers crossed for your full recovery! ❤️

Yeah, I’m starting to prioritize now as I’m sick of the increases. AppleTV, MAX & Hulu are gone for sure. Netflix would be harder, but I’ve about had it with the password sharing nonsense. I pay for a family plan & the kids (permanent residence with me) watch in college or at their Mom’s & are starting to get locked out sometimes. It stinks as they all have a few good shows & there is NOTHING on cable!
