…along Christina Riverwalk and surroundings
What’s up buttercup?
fossil or driftwood? you decide 🤔😉
giant W art installation memorializing Wilmington Delaware and Harriett Tubman *aka Moses* keeping the “Underground Railroad” operating as a secret society of farms and businesses alive allowing passage for runaway slaves northward into Philadelphia and freedom during America’s tragic Civil War
Goddard School entrance at the Barclay’s building with a modern engineering marvel I nicknamed the 3 finger death punch *a la Kill Bill* supporting the 100’s of tons of that entire wing of the building on just those 3 steel columns extending the weight onto just that 1 concrete pedestal, hinges help it flex during storms and earthquakes, blows my mind!
While I was snapping the shots above I turned around to adjust my focus in the bight sun and voila! …this eclectic shot appears out of nowhere, the crazy looking staircase looking thingy *a la Picasso maybe?* is actually the reflection of the Barclay’s stainless steel art deco roof adornment, so I thought hey once in a life shot… click!
fairly sure these are wild raspberries, have to come back in a month to see if any tasty treats await
so umm… is the pink spaceship supposed to land here? 😉🩷👽
