Suffered a grand mal seizure yesterday from the heat in my high rise building. Stopped breathing multiple times in ambulance and in ER. I’m admitted indefinitely until the doctors figure out if I have any permanent organ damage. The a/c on my floor blew out in late June and the owners refuse to call in licensed technicians, rather opting to let other residents who claim technical expertise to beat and bang on it making it worse until it finally crapped out after freezing up then flooded everything when ice accumulated around the a/c coils eventually melted. Recent 3 day 95° heat wave combined with 104° index and no windows for fresh air landed me here. I lost everything that was on the floor including food and clothing that went moldy and canned goods rusted. Plus everything in refrigerator spoiled when the breaker tripped.
Assuming I survive this my first order of business is retaining a lawyer! ⚖️🏛️💰
