Being MOD went well today - only about 5 fires to put out while I was at work and nothing that I don't usually do anyway. I did get a kick out of my boss saying over the radio that we were in charge for the rest of the day. I took some shit about that from my other co -workers.
OKAY QUESTION: You are working with a guy who you have worked with before. He can handle the job and when he applies himself he does it very well. But lately he has told you that he doesn't care about the job. He is selling stuff (not drugs) at work and making an extra 300 to 800 a month - depending on how much he applies himself to selling. He has also told you that if my immediate manager was not in today that he would have made an appearance and then left the property to go to a pool and hang out and only come back to do his closing duties.
What do you do?
A. Confront the guy and let him know that he is fucked in the head.
B. Talk to the manager but I dont want to rat him out.
C. Just ignore him and hope he gets better.
D. Ask people online for their ideas.

I think I'd choose A... give him fair warning... then if things don't improve... talk to a manager about it....
