Hello Friends in SG Land,
Since Saturday, it has been a whirl-wind of things in my life.
Began a new part time job at Pebble Beach California for the US Open Golf event. Doing security with a security company that is exclusive security provider for this event. I was the very first person hired and the first person to start to work. A co-worker also began to work with me at this event. We commute from Salinas. It is about 20 miles one way. By the second night, I was promoted night shift supervisor and a little bit of a raise too.
I also went to see "The Losers" on Sunday". The movie rocked. Pure action. No brainer type movie.
Then on Tuesday, I received a call from Pacific Grove Police Department which I had interviewed for a position back in February. They offered a the job for me. The next day I met with the investigator who will be doing the back ground check. Now I have a ton of paper work to do. I feel great about this.
Now, I have to do more stuff for the US Open event too. I am a trainer. My manager is very impressed with my work. Even tho on Monday, my co-worker and I were off, it was a bad day for him. He had to fire one guy, and another guy killed a golf cart and another guy just could not learn the patrol routes.
Oh well,
