I do not have fond memories for father's day. My step day was a jerk and my real dad I never knew.
Time has passed and every few years my birthday lands on the Sunday that it is also Father's day.
I kept my peace for this day. I do miss my grandfather, he was much more a dad than anyone else was.
He was strong, cleaver, and a hard worker. Served in World War 2 and Korea, I know he was very tough because he had a silver star and 2 bronze stars, with an assorment of other medals.
