A life time ago....my eyes were gleaming in innocence.

I think about the friends who have lost their lives over the years on those distant lands.
Family members who meant so much but are no longer with me.
This is a tough time of the year.
Tears well up easily in my eyes.
The old classic christmas songs make my heart shudder in saddness.

The cold nights tingles my nose with the frosty winds.
All I want to be cozy next to a roaring fire in the fireplace, the smoke is bellowing out the chimmeny stack.
I wrap myself in my conforter as I remember those yesteryears.
