I face the nights alone.
Felt that dreams were meant for other people.
The night has become chilly under the cloudless autumn sky.
I keep dreaming, saving each for a rainy day.
I stand alone, breathing in deeply the night. In the distance many fireplaces
are raging with fires to keep the chill of the night away. The sweetest aroma of pine and
hickorey fills my senses.
I hope to find my paradise. Fill my heart with new hope.
I have been stripped of all of my pride.
There I stand in the door-step, forgetting the past and not even thinking about the future.
When I sleep, the cold steel of .45 Cal pistol is beneath my pillow.
