Yesterday, June 17.....was a very special day for many reasons.
For those men who have children...well Happy Father's Day. Hope everyone had fun.
For me, 38 years ago, on a Tuesday night 9:17pm June 17, 1969, I came screaming into the world.
Now three decades plus eight years have passed. I am a bit grayer, wiser, stout, and happier.
My family gave me a nice party, very mellow. BBQ, home made cake and home made Ice cream cake. A few gifts were received. It is always very humbling
Saturday, afternoon was spent with my best friend. He treated me to a very nice lunch at Carmel-by-the Sea. Later, that evening it was spent watching the last regular season home game in San Jose at the Arena football game. San Jose Sabercats kicked butt against a long time division rival, Arizona Rattlers. 66 to 26 was the final score. Now, I just have to wait for the Play-off game on July 7th.
Yes, this weekend was very special time. Spent quality time with family and friends.
The sun shown brightly and everything was beautifully packaged for my birthday.
