Here is the 1st of April, another beautiful spring day here in California. Perfect to be in the yard, laying in a hammock and sipping a glass of Ice cold lemanade. Basking in the sun and watching the few puffy white clouds drift across the deep blue sky.

Here is another poem that was published with www.poerty.com. The Title is In the Wake of a Storm.

I close my eyes and listen to the soft echos
of a storm brewing in the distance.
Shattering the very stillness of the night, the thunder
claps with such a roar which leaves me trembling in it's wake.
The lighting breaks the night with a brillant magical light display.
Dancing against my windowpane, the rain drops tapping
gently with a beautiful rhythm.
Then in my mind the web thoughts begin to dissolve away.
My senses are filled with a rich earthly
aroma of freashly plowed fields.
Carrying in it's arms, the wind blows an open window with
these wonderful scents.
My home lays empty and quiet, with only the sounds of the
storm is the music heard.
The many candles flicker as I paint a new future in the
shadows on the blank walls.
