Last tuesday the company I work for celebrated its 50 year anniversary. I have to admit that it was an amazing party. Granted, the start was a bit dull, but insurance companies just love long speeches. But after the initial blabla was over the fun began. You know, I always buy stuff for myself when I feel somewhat unhappy. So last week I went and bought a Playstation 3. Needless to say that I feel much better now, even though MotorStorm is driving me insane.

Today my boss had a nice surprise for me. My employment contract, which would've ended on December 31st, has been changed to an indefinite contract. I can't tell you how happy I am about this. I was afraid that I would have to fight for this during the next few months and instead it just happened. I can finallly stop worrying about this.

It's the little joys that make life bearable. Like getting an email from your director of studies telling you that the tutor is ill and there will be no tuition on saturday.

Yay to that. Sleeping in on saturday has become a real luxury for me.
