Last tuesday the company I work for celebrated its 50 year anniversary. I have to admit that it was an amazing party. Granted, the start was a bit dull, but insurance companies just love long speeches. But after the initial blabla was over the fun began. There was a ton of good food, a pretty good band, a comedian/drag queen and caricaturist.

So of course I went and let this guy draw me, this is the result:

I even did something which I've never done before - I danced! Doesn't sound very shocking but believe me, I usually never dance, I'm much too shy. Quite a few of my female colleagues and even my boss (also female) asked me to dance but I always refused. Then the one woman I'm secretly and totally in love with came to me and asked me to dance. And what shall I say, I gave in. I was nervous like hell but seeing her smile was totally worth it. She later told me that she was so happy about me doing this for her, needless to say that this really made my day. Besides, a lot of people told me that I actually danced quite good.

This whole celebration has been filmed and I'm somewhat afraid that my short trip to the dancefloor has been recorded. I don't even want to think about it. I fear it might end up on youtube...
