Been a pretty crummy 2 weeks since my last post. The whole family went down with the flu and it was one of the killer ones that lasted about 10 days. Luckily I didn't get it until my wife got functional - although I don't think it would have mattered... LT had a 103 temp and you couldn't tell by the way he was playing. Tay never got it bad enough to miss a day of school. I think that says something about being carefree like a child compared to the suckiness about being an adult.
The weather in Houston has been wet during winter, but the last couple of weeks have been pretty awesome. Anyways, awhile back I got a little stuck in the mud on my Harley and tore the handgrip off while trying to wiggle out of it. I've been riding around without it ever since. I bought a new set of grips yesterday and installed them last night. I was going to ride into work today because it was sooo pretty out and I have some errands to run during lunch and I was thinking about going and getting some ink done tonight. Basically I would get some good seat time in. The fucking bike wouldn't start.
My wife is talking about quitting work in a couple of years, which means that I need to get some misc dept paid off. I've decided to sell my 05 Corvette to eliminate the payment which should enable us to pay everything off by december. My neighbor has had his restored 70 Suburban for sale for about 6 months and I've been drooling over it ever since we moved in. I've got a 58 Chevy pickup that I've been restoring for about 4 years now, but I stopped working on it when we decided to move a couple of years ago. I've put it up for sale and I bought the Burb last weekend. Keep your fingers crossed that the truck sales quickly... I've got in on eBay right now with 15 people watching it so I'm hoping they are just waiting to bid at the very end of the auction.
Teddy is doing great. He is actually a really kick ass dog. We take him everywhere with us and he ain't scared of shit!

Yes, I will. Actually, if my first paycheck and/or first week of tips are good I'll probably just buy a year's subscription. It seems like the flu is everywhere. Everyone I know has gotten it here in NC; I had it about a month ago. I'm sorry about your bike. I hope you get a good bid on your truck. I'll let you know when I'm back on. I'll talk to you again soon.
