Dog has worms (again). We live out in the country and Rocky is an escape artist. So not only does he get worms, ticks, etc., he is the scurge of the neighborhood. All the other country dogs don't leave their property... My dogs? Noooo, they have to go rooting through the trash, tear up gardens... and their all time favorite is chasing skunks.
More on the dog front: You will notice I wrote 'dogs' earlier. We had 2 Boxers, but because they are always getting in trouble we felt it would be safer for them to go to a home that has a 6ft privacy fence. A guy I work with lost his dog to old age a few months back and his family decided they were ready to get a new dog. He jumped at the chance to try out Boo, our all white female. He has 3 teenage daughters (2 of them twins) and his mother lives at home with him and his wife. Boo went for a 2 week trial and was an immediate hit. He told me the only problem is that now he is no longer the most important person in the house.
Rocky is supposed to be going with a family friend at the end of the month when they move into their new house.
We are sad, but know it is the safest thing for the dogs. Were I live, people don't hesitate to shoot roaming dogs and I'm surprised mine haven't been killed yet. I could put in a privacy fence, but it would ruin the appeal of living on open acerage.
I've told my wife that I want a little sissy dog who can't climb over the little picket fence we have and can't get on the counters. But don't worry, I'm going to get that dog butched up and he will work the ranch with me.
Wow, was that the most boring blog ever? Here is some major cuteness to make up for it.

I'm sorry that you have neighbors like that. There's no need to shoot a dog, especially if it hasn't done anything to them. People like that piss me off
We had German Shepard's and they always got over our 6 foot fence. If you want a dog that won't roam, don't get a shepard, they're notorious for that!
Btw your babies are adorable, all 3 of them.
