One week. Yep, one entire week of me, a backpack and the beautiful Selway/Bitterrroot Wilderness. Starting and ending in MT, passing through ID over a few mountain passes. So very excited. An old and dear friend is joining me for the week. Lots of catch up and laughter. Not my normal climbing trip stuff. Nice to go on a trip where I do not, a.) Worry about dying, and b.) carry the mental anguish and guilt of the former with me.
Other news, hmmm...staring work in a new lab. The old one ran out of money. Scary stuff as the job market in my little corner of the world is pretty slim. Got a great position with secure money for awhile. Deep sigh, the wifey was happy to hear that we could continue to make ends meet.
Looking forward to autumn! Pumpkins and cooler temps. Hope all in SG land are doing well.
