Manager has been calling my customers and been finding that they love me. Sounded like it hurt him to admit it in our status meeting today but he made it up by rudely shutting me out from asking what happens behind the scenes for a very common process my customers frequently ask about. He told me its inappropriate for them to ask you that and you don't need to know and you advise them to call someone else because that's not what we do. Maybe I should go tell the customer to fuck off while I'm at it? How the hell did this guy get put in charge?!?!

I notice that at the end of the meeting he asked the other guy how he's doing and whether he had anything to add and then quickly closed it the meeting without asking me. Nice.

I often wonder about that joke of the guy in the flood who was offerred a truck, boat, and an airlift out of a flood but denied to accept any of it thinking god was going to save him. Then when he drowns and goes to heaven god tells him, I sent a truck, boat, and an airlift!!!! I can't help thinking maybe my career with this company is this guy and God will tell me, I laid off everyone around you, reorg you out of management, finally gave you a manager who's an ass that's trying to fire you and yet you stay in that shithole! Why do you stay here?!?!
