"Metal" - Nine Inch Nails (Gary Numan cover)


"Love Reign O'er Me" - Pearl Jam (The Who)
I'm sure just about everyone's heard this cover, and I should hope that all of you have listened to Quadrophenia at least once in your lives.


"Stand By Me" - John Lennon (Ben King)
Another well-known tune and well-known cover, but this blog wouldn't be complete without it. For lulz, follow the Timone and Pumba cover linked to it at the end.


"Enjoy the Silence" - Lacuna Coil (Depeche Mode)
A lot of artists have tried to cover this song. Personally, I find this is one of the only covers that does it justice. Plus I can think of about six different ways I want Christina Scabbia.


"Closer" - Jane Distortion (NIN)
A fun acoustic cover sung with JD's only female member. Having a woman say the lyrics adds perspective to the song and I like it. They're a little side-project band in Finland that records their stuff in one of the members' living rooms, FYI.


"Can't Take My Eyes Off You" - Muse (Frakie Vallie)
Fun twist on the song.


Six should be more than plenty, I think.
