I went and saw the Watchmen last night. Then on the walk home I saw, taped to a light post, this note:

Julie,
Your father called and loves you.
Says he'll call again.

That depressed me a lot. Brought out my masochistic side a little too. I got very drunk with some friends. Too drunk to stand. Ended up with an almost-broken nose and bloodstained clothes after my face got hit by the planet. Some part of me draws satisfaction from the pain.
