How did you get it so far above you?

You take a kitchen whisk tie a string on it , stuff the steel wool into the whisk. Light it with a lighter and spin. I had my camera set on a 30 second exposure.

This is an old church house on the Side of the hiawassee river. People used to cross the river in a ferry boat prior to the bridge u can see in the background.
