I've had a mouse pilfering chocolate from a bag in my closet for months now. We've had an understanding that if he doesn't destroy things I wouldn't trap him and kick him out, after all, he was here first. He's gone through several different names, Tortoise, Frost Shock, Luis, and Spadassinicide. He is fast and elusive, but today I came home to find him either sick or injured next to my computer. So I picked him up and put him in a small cage. He eagerly drank water when I put it just under his face. I wonder if it is dehydration, chocolate overdose or physical injury.

I hadn't considered how sad I feel at finding him sluggish and nearly unresponsive.
