There is so much to do in California, its great! In my area, you're 35 min from San Francisco, 35 min from Santa Cruz, 3 hours from Tahoe, 3 1/2 hours from Los Angeles. There are so many fun things to do.

BUT, its expensive to live here, and its very hard to find good work. My friend and I just got laid off, and another friend I haven't seen in about a year just told me today that two other people I know are laid off.
