One of my favorite things about SG is when one of the SGs does this.
All she has to do is post some sort of command to her legions, and everyone comments and shows their love. It's a pretty cool deal, I guess.
Linz, one of my favorite SGs, has a similar but totally different phenomenon. Linz doesn't journal much, so when she does, she gets, I'd say, 50 comments within 6 hours of posting it. She posts one-sentence entries (current entry: :"golly gee") and everyone goes nuts.
It's pretty amazing.

I really liked what you had to say in the Election 2004 Educate Me thread. Since you are in DC and sit right on the front lines I guess you have a large amount of first had knowledge of the political front. It says your occupation is journalist/etc. Are there any articles online of yours you wouldn't mind pointing me to? I would like to read up on your work.
