So here it is, at the request of atomicharlie, an excerpt from the book I'm writing. A lot of my book is about strained famliy relations. It's main character is Jason (a.k.a. Jase) who is a female named after Jason Vorhees. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Shitting out the Coal
So, I finally joined The Cult today. An online writing group inspired by Chuck Palahniuk. I've been going around reading stuff and looking at all they have to offer and I think it's going to be a great place to help me improve upon my craft. It's time again, I can feel it, time to delve back into the world of...

Dude this rocks! I always find it hard to work when I am staring at a blank canvas (in your case page). It's always where to start that gets me most. But once I have started, its magic from that point forward... Good luck!

My Weekend Off
So, I spent most of my weekend moving more boxes over and building a cube shelf unit to put my stuff on in my bedroom. Apparently Bowser's new favorite is boxes (though I don't know if it tops feet yet, feet are even more so his favortie). I really shouldn't say most. I have 2 and a half months to move and...

Much need for a bike here. I'm surrounded by beautiful bike crazies and the vintage frames they obsess over and make into their own. It's really cool. I love watch and listening to people geek out over shit, and there is a lot of that here.

I wouldn't call it suffering as I enjoy it. But sometimes it comes out involuntarily. And some days I like it more then others.
I miss having a cat around. But with my work I would have time to give it the lovin it needs.

B-Dog gets situated in the new place
So, today was a good day, got enough stuff over here that it's really starting to feel like home. Still no bed, but Joe's couch is so comfortable that I think it might be better than my bed. I did get the thing that's most precious to me, though. Bowser (a.k.a. B-Dog) my cat that thinks he's a...

Tomorrow's going to be a big day. I'm planning on moving a bunch more stuff over to Joe's. It feels weird moving over there. Like a girlfriend trying to sneak her toothbrush over undetected, but Joe's so great about bending over backwards to make those feelings go away that I can't help but think this really is the right decision. Joe's laid back and easy...

Thanks for the request. You've been cool in the last few responses which makes me think you won't be a 'random' SG friend so of course I accept.
Kudos on the writing! I won't ask anymore about the specifics about the book because I understand the reasoning behind keeping some things under your hat before it has been copy written/patented/published. Especially to those who aren't in the publishing industry. Even them, it's wise to be a bit leery.
Sometimes I'm too trusting. When it comes to the bottom line, it couldn't be too bad to share with some publishers and/or editors. HOWERVER, SG Twinkie is in the publishing industry. While I don't know her other than from correspondence she seems to know her stuff. Anywhoo
Family life and real horror(film or not)too bad they often seem to coincide.
Thanks for sharing and best of luck with the work in progress.

Right on. Hopefully you're kind when they extend from their shell.
That's so cool about you nickname. After all, where would the Fraggles be without the Doozers. And for that matter, the Doozers w/out the Fraggles. I chose it for many reasons...
I've never been much of a breakfast kind of person and often go through lunch with just a sprit. Regardless, I'm glad you wake up to such sweetness!
Speaking of organic, and you enjoy a bowl of cereal from now and then, you may want to try Kashi Autumn Wheat. It's Yummy.

A fellow author! I'm been working on an epic poem myself for a while now and am happy to say that I think it is almost done now after far too long!
Thanks for the heads up on Fargo; I'm really excited at having been accepted to the university there. I think I'm going to enjoy my time at the school! So, whats the social life like is your fair city?
