My neck wound didn't last long, but it looked totally bad ass and beautiful.


I personally bit every person's makeup chunks so that it'd be my bite that took them all out. That way I could say I turned them into zombies in more way than one.

Derik came and got me and took me to other bars, which was the best thing ever. Being the sole zombie was almost more fun... apparently I made the news!!

So yeah, last night was just what I needed to get me out of my little emo slump of being homesick before I'd even left. Sitting and doing the makeup for my friends was such a blast, I really enjoyed it. The entire day was awesome, but yeah... putting on the makeup was classic. All I could think the entire time I was doing it was "I'm going to be doing this for a living!!!" It was so exciting and fun to be on a time crunch working on getting all these people zombified. I had a blast.

So many great stories, too!! Like us walking into the Subway and the guy running into the back and hiding from us, which was so classic! I loved going over to West Fargo, too, with Derik and being the only zombie at a bar where everyone had seen me on tv earlier that day. People freaked out when I got there. It was all kinds of awesome!

It sounds like my friends are going to pay for my plane ticket back next year $25 each as long as I do their makeup for them, which (of course) I'd gladly do! I'm really hoping this is something I can do every year and charge for it so that I can make a little money on the side.

Ok, I'm all kinds of giddy, but I think I better go nap now.
