So, I've been super busy lately. Reading my ass off researching everything from publishing, agents, zombie survial, the history of fashion, make-up/special effects application to gun laws, slasher film history, digitial filming and the list goes on and on and on. Somewhere between all this I found time to finally hit the 40k word mark (my halfway point to my final word goal of 80k). To give you an idea, that's about 144 pages... quite the feat!

To celebrate 40k words, I went out with some friends for a night on the town. Dressed classically in polka dots:

I got tons of compliments on the look, I wish I had more clothing to compliment this, maybe as I lose more weight I'll start investing in more clothing that's classy chic. That necklace I know looks horrible with the outfit, but it needed something and that's one of 2 that I have that are unpacked. Ahhhh well, life goes on.

I totally got to show off my new shoes in true style though:

They went perfectly with the outfit.

Living at Joe's only a short period of time, made me forget just how awesome Bowser is when it's just the two of us. He's such a loving little pest. He likes sitting on top of my chair now while I work though, which totally freaks me out.


I love how curious he can be though. Here's him saying "what's that?!" to the camera. He wasn't so happy when the flash went off with his eyes that close though. Hehehehe I'm a terrible mom to him.


With all the make-up books I've been reading I've been trying new looks with my eyes. This one was about a week and a half ago, I wish you could see it better, but my camera sucks at close up photos. Spoiled since so many photos are here already:

So yea, now I better get back to reading, I got tons of stuff piled up waiting to be read.

P.S. I get paid this Friday and hope to be sending out a pkg to a certain someone who's had it coming for awhile now. I hope she likes it when it gets there, even though it took me so long. I hate having to watch my spending money right now.

I'm also hoping in about 3 weeks- a month to spend some more on make up. I need to prioritize what I want between now and then though.
