My Ever Evolving Vacation
First of all I cut a few out of my friends list. So if you are reading this blog, I didn't cut you. The people I cut I doubt will miss me though.
Ok, so Leethal can no longer make it to the good old U S of A for his birthday which sucks and kinda brings my Vegas plans into question. I don't have anyone locked in for sure on it so I don't know how serious anyone is.
This basically has turned my summer vacation completely on end as I desperately try to figure out what I should do now when the options seem endless.
CynicismDirect has been kind enough to encourage me to tour the west coast with her mid July which would totally rock, but I got to admit I'm a bit nervous depending on people I've never met for a vacation...
even if they are the coolest people ever that I haven't met.
Yes, Tuesday, I mean you. If I don't come out this summer, I promise it's still high on my priorities and I will do it sometime for sure.
Otherwise there are a few other options. I could still go to Vegas with friends or wait and go with family... and God knows I'm everyone's favorite and they'll spoil me endlessly if I go down there.
Though in all honesty, the next Vegas familiy reunion is in March and I can definately go somewhere now and then no problem.
Though now, and Lee I want you to call me (if you can) immediately when you read this, I might have the option of making it to Melbourne in late August... assuming I get my rough draft on the book finished by then. Talk about motivation. If I do this you better have an apartment by the time I get there!! 
I'd probably be pretty damn poor for it though. I hate to even mention this, really.. cause I don't know how big of a chance it is yet, but CALL me about it ASAP.
Otherwise, my itch to go on a road trip is really calling and so I was thinking of taking my two little cousins (they are like my little sisters, really and the entire reason I live in Fargo) on a roadtrip. We'd have to go to Colorado for sure and maybe Montana, but I still want to see ocean this summer and would absolutely love to bring them to the coast. Probably a camping vacation to save on money. In all honesty, out of all my options, this is the one that speaks most closely to my heart. I love those girls so much, I want to do something with them before they get too old to be able to take a week or more off to hang out with me.
I'm sure I'm driving most of you crazy trying to figure this stuff out, but I havnen't been on a real vacation in so long that I want to cry. So this is HUGE for me. I have 2 weeks of vacation from work saved up!!! It's time to use some of that!!
Time to go pick up my bike!!!
