I hope everyone's summer has been going really well. Mine has been filled with working at the tattoo shop full time (as well as having a part time job) and wedding planning.
We recently (august 9th) had our grand (re)opening of our tattoo shop! it went fantastic, and i'm hoping it will bring us more business. i did crap tons of networking, and we even did a raffle for gift certificates for tattoo $! My mom won a $25 gift cert to get tattooed by me :)
These next few weeks are going to be super stressful for me! tons of bills due, my friend Allen is coming to visit us from Cali (hi Allen ^.^!), and chicago comic con is next weekend!!!!! AND SIR PATRICK STEWART WILL BE THERE!! omggg....i'm seriously hoping to go, because that is one of the major items for my bucket list, is to meet Patrick Stewart. but it's kind of looking like it won't :( we are so incredibly broke and living off of whatever i make from tattoos and my other part time job. ;_; i'm so stressed and upset that i might not get to go!!!!! kind of close to tears, actually.
also: that same weekend i will be shooting with a few girls up in Chicago, so i'll probably be having a set come out soon!! Any suggestions?
