ugh, so I spent a ton of time writing out this heartfelt blog that included wedding info, rants, death, the usual...and then I go to post it and it doesn't post....wtf....i'll try it again... so i'm sorry if it's a bit frank.

Been a bit under the depression weather. Having bad dreams about my dad, and sleeping all the time. Breakdowns, the usual. But the wedding planning is keeping me going. Sept 14, 2014 is the date! I don't know if i'd make it though day to day without that excitement.

We will also be trying for a baby in the late spring. I'm so absolutely baby crazy right now, and it's not going away. Usually it comes and goes (probably something to do with my cycle), but this time it's here to stay.

I did have a long, heartfelt rant about people who tell me negative things about having a baby. I won't be able to retype it all, but I will say FUCK YOU in advance. I've been told everything under the sun already, so if you're going to try and "warn" me about something, I've already heard it, so you can go fuck yourself without wasting your breath or your time. If women were deterred by labor pains, sleepless nights, diapers, colic, 18 years of torturous raising...then none of you would be here. That's the whole fucking point of bringing a child into this world: to labor in pain, to raise this child, to hear them defy you from time to time, and then watch them go off on their own. And I don't want anything else.

I'm so sick of hearing the stipulations of having a baby. I can't have it at this age, I can't have it with this man, or that man. I have to be married first... I'm having a baby that I WANT, with the man I have loved for the past 5 1/2 years, whom I live with, and whom I am marrying. Isn't that what fucking society wants? Am I following all the rules? What more do you fucking want?

I will, however, be very grateful for your blessing and well wishes :) and if you could send good vibes of having a boy, I would love that!

Wow. Sorry you're in a little bit of a funk, but I understand that the grieving process can take awhile. I wish you lots of comfort while you continue with it. And, hopefully the wedding will provide you opportunity to help you through.  As to the baby, you go girl! I'd never try to tell people how to live their lives, and it sounds as though you really have had all the advice in the world. And it also sounds as though you, and the beau, have thought things through. You have a plan, and that is a hell of a lot better than most. So it sounds like you will be a terrific mom :) All the best of luck.

I listened to people and didn't have a baby when I wanted to.  Now? No baby. And every time I see that AT&T commercial with the guy questioning the kids, and the little girl that talks about her raisins turning into grapes?  Ouch.  Go for it, and good luck! Awesome!
