I am working a double tonight (I work at two art galleries owned by the same owner now), and I am bored as fuck. No one (other than hotel employees) has come in a while. So I decided to see what was shakin' on SG.
Yes, you heard me right. I am working at two different art galleries. Apparently, someone somewhere decided I could handle more responsibility. With great power comes great responsibility, but I just haven't received the "great power" end of that. Hmmmph.
Mom is in the process of healing, which is good. She is going to have to have her WoundVac(TM) in for another week or so. Bogus. Then, unfortunately, she is gonna start her chemo and radiation. I have no idea of how sick she is going to get from it. I hate leaving her at home alone so much - I feel guilty, but I can't quit my job or even take an extended leave of absence, because I need the money.
Colin and I are good - we have decided to open a joint bank account next week. Not for us to put our entire paychecks in - more like just a petty cash fund so we can have money to do things like go out to dinner and go away for the weekend (and possibly elope at some point, hehehehe). Besides, this will give us an excellent indication of how well we will be able to manage our money together in the future, and where we might need improvement. I think it's a wonderful idea.
I miss the CRAP out of my friends right now. For the most part (other than occasionally hanging out with Colin when I can) I haven't seen them in weeks; some of them even months. I'm afraid it's going to get worse during my mom's chemo and radiation, but I hope not.

Ive had a totally messed up month, met a psycho man, and it ended so badly. le sigh
