I finally got the details about my cousin this morning.

Apparently he was bi-polar, and he stopped taking his meds. His g/f left him (not sure if it was the same girl that he'd had a baby with), and he was hospitalized recently for trying to slit his wrists.

So Thursday night, he called his ex and asked her if he could come back. She said she didn't think it was a good idea, and he blew his brains out while he was on the phone with her.

I wasn't terribly close to my cousin (who was only about a year older than myself), but he wasn't a bad kid. He was the first person to offer me weed (but I was still pretty young at the time so I declined.)

RIP Tommy, you were a cool guy.
