I am having a shitty week. Things with the boy are even more complicated. Last night we fucked like bunnies, then not sixty seconds after we were done, he's like..."So, that was the last time, right?"
He's so miserable at home and he came out and admitted that he's just staying with his wife for his kids. I call him on being unhappy, and then he thinks I want to single-handedly break up his marriage. We must have spent an hour last night talking about this. He feels bad about what he's doing to his wife, but not bad enough to stop doing it permanently.
I'm SO tired of wasting my time and effort and energy and money and affection on people who don't appreciate them and who don't care. I feel like the goddamn Giving Tree. I give and I give and never get anything substantial in return. I give until I have nothing left to give at all.
All I ever get is guys who take advantage of me, then ditch me for the bigger, better deal. The last one did it - why should things change now?

You are worth more than what you are allowing yourself to settle for. Remember that being single isn't so bad. At least when you are single you can put yourself first. You really need to be put first for a while. You will find the right person; don't stop looking just because you found the right now person.
