Scene: Mystery Affair Guy's car, 12 PM.
"I've got a wife and kids. I've had to lie so much lately."
"But am I worth it?" I ask pointedly, after much kissing.
"Yes," he breathes.
And that was all I'd ever wanted, really. Just to be made to feel that I was worth it. No one had ever done that before.
Okay, so everyone wants to know what I did...well, I got busted for drinking at work. My gallery director didn't care if I had the occasional drink or two, but apparently someone smelled champagne on me and called hotel security.
They, in turn, called the gallery owner, and the hotel manager got involved. I wasn't ready to really talk about it until I was sure it was over.
But now it's over, I think, and I'm feeling better about everything. I used about half of the spa gift certificates I got for Christmas today. I am now a redhead also; I will post pics of that later.
