Okay, here goes...
I did something at work that I shouldn't have, and the owner found out. I don't really want to go into detail about what it was, but I nearly lost my job over it. I was supposed to be called into the owners office last Friday; but he was busy and there was no one to relieve me at work so I haven't seen him yet.
I'm one lucky mofo to still be working right now.
It's something that I probably should have been fired on the spot for, but the human spirit can be a marvelous thing. My gallery director and my co-worker went to bat for me, and literally did everything that they could to keep me from getting fired.
They have been the closest things to a knight in shining armor that I have had in a long, long time. I love them for doing everything that they can to help me keep my job.
I am dreading seeing the owner, no matter how much time passes between then and now. I am expecting a severe tongue lashing and I am hoping to keep my job. Only time will tell.
