First and foremost, I'd like to thank everyone who wished me a Merry Christmas (believe it or not, as much as I talk shit here and act like a dirty old hedonist, I'm still Christian.) I've seen a lot of anti-Christian talk here on SG, but I've just decided to ignore it for the most part.
I'm not a typical Christian; I drink and smoke cigars and bang whoever the hell I feel like, but I still believe in God. And I'm not going to tell you that you're going to hell if you don't believe in God. I just kind of do my own thing and keep to myself. So, we're cool.
AND, I was a teaching assistant for a world religions class at UCF for over 300 freshmen and sophomores. I was able to teach about and coherently discuss pretty much any religion, not just my own.
Hmmm...what else is new? Well, I've sold over $$11,000 worth of merchandise in the past week. Huzzah! I make 10% commission.
And there's a Fendi incentive program here at the gallery - sell $2500 in Fendi watches between October and New Years' Eve this year, and get a free Fendi. I've sold $3,140 in Fendis, so I'm getting this beauty right here:
The value of my free watch is supposed to be $395 retail, but I'm getting this more expensive one and paying only $100. Yes, the diamonds are real.
I made out like a bandit for Christmas. I got $800 in spa gift certificates from my mom (which, I just found out, are good at the hotel where I work.) AND I still get to use my 20% hotel employee discount. So that's closer to having $1000 worth.
I also got jewelry, purses, clothes, books, movies, bath stuff, and of course, money. And I got a sweet new 19 inch liquid crystal monitor for my computer. There was nothing wrong with my old one; my mom just decided I should have a bigger one.
In the spirit of giving, I brought my old monitor to work. Our old one here at work was dark and fuzzy, and really, really crappy.
