I finally uploaded the pics from my new camera. I love my new toy. I'd love to share them all of you wonderful people, but I need to shrink them first so that I can upload them here. I'll probably just put them on my website which I haven't updated in forever!!! I think I was a sophmore the last time I touch that thing. Eh, it's a work in progress.
Anyway, the band had two parties at the libray this weekend. Friday night was off the fuckin' meter. The energy from that crowd was perfect. Yeah, they were pretty mcuch retarded drunk, but still they were so into the music, we didn't even care. Sunday was a bit more subdued, but we still had fun. We always do.
So I think I'm going to apply for a job at this place around the corner. It's kinda laid back, but they have a great place for bands and such. We'll see what goes on with that endevour.
This weekend is the bash at the beach. It'll be the first "family" function I've been to since the accident. I know someone's going to mention it and they'll be a thousand people watching every drink I take, but honestly, if they can't get passed what happened, fuck 'em. I've learned a lot since the accident and I know how to control myself now.
On the up note, a friend of mine came into town the other day. It was great to see her again. Come to mention it, I haven't seen her since the accident either. She was in the back seat at the time. While we were driving, she casually mentioned it and had mad jokes about it, but I could tell she was a little bitter about the whole situation. Not that I blame her, I'm just kinda upset the whole thing happened at all.
So anyway, this should be an interesting weekend to say the least. The last time I went to the beach, my friend and I survived the while weekend on Krispy Kreme donuts and alcohol. We look back in wonder how in the world we survived. Nonetheless, it was a great weekend!
